Job Description
San Antonio Credit Union is seeking to find a dynamic individual who will build and maintain a team capable of producing high quality loan processing documentation with excellent customer service for mortgage loans secured by a manufactured home and land. This role will ensure the service quality standards to external and internal customers are met and exceeded, as well as managing the development of policies, quality and service level standards.
The successful candidate will be a charismatic individual with a passion for making a difference and influencing change. A strong affinity for building relationships and understanding the importance of excellent customer service is essential.
Duties Include:
- Successfully hiring and training the real estate loan processing team
- Direct and develop annual training plans that increase the productivity and effectiveness of staff
- Ensure completed loan files meet the underwriter’s specifications, regulatory compliance requirements, and Credit Union Policy
- Ensure all disbursements are accurate, reconciled, forwarded to the appropriate parties
- Ensure all post-closing documents are tracked, collected, and delivered to Servicing
- Ensure that Government Monitoring Information (GMI) and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data is verified on all files processed by the real estate loan processing team
- Monitors and provides feedback on the performance of direct reports

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years’ mortgage lending experience. Manufactured housing experience is a plus
- 2+ years’ experience as a manager in a leadership capacity directing a loan processing team
- Knowledge of mortgage lending function; operations, processes, and procedures
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to mortgage lending
- Ability to manage and lead others to achieve desired results
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with paperless/electronic loan documentation and closings a plus
- This position requires registration and a Mortgage Loan Originator
(MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and
Registry on an annual basis in addition to maintaining updates as
needed. Initial registration is required immediately upon hire into this
position.

- Monday- Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
