Ron Thomas, Sr. posted in MHProNewsWe at the Louisville Show want to treat you to a spectacular array of New Homes, Products and Services. Whatever your business or inventory requires, you’re likely to find the most exciting single-section and system-built homes.

It will be a feast for the eyes for all of you, with endless possibilities and combinations.

It’s also an excellent opportunity to cut great deals. Be the first to see new product/home introductions; talk with R&D and marketing execs; compare prices, service, and follow-through...and network with the most industry professionals, all under one climate controlled roof.

In short, it’s a one-stop-shopping concept that is the bellwether event of each “New Year.”

Louisville is where the leaders in the industry (including you) gather annually to plot your course and plan out your strategy. You’ll hear about weaknesses and strengths, goals and objectives, and every other topic of importance to each of you. No matter where else you go in 2013, this is where the action begins.

Profit Building and Protecting “Money Tree Seminars,” Forums and Workshops

For the 2013 Louisville Show, we plan to do more profit building and protecting “Money Tree” Seminars, Forums and Workshops. Get the best information all under one roof to start the year off right!

We will repeat the popular finance seminars that brought standing room only crowds to the 2012 event. We will showcase the latest and greatest third party lending that the Industry has to offer! We will also provide community finance panels, which will give those looking to buy or refinance a Manufactured Home Community (MHC) a forum to not only hear the top lenders but also to ask questions.

We will also do a presentation on Money Tree marketing and sales systems geared for the 21st century home buying customers. Remember, all success is a matter of proven systems! Do you want to attract and sell more customers? Then learn how using proven on and off line marketing systems in tandem with sales approaches that work when applied in manufactured home retail centers, communities or by business to business professionals.

We also plan forums where retailers, communities and others can discuss hot topics, with a panel of experts to facilitate discussion and answer questions.

This year, MHI’s new Chairman and CEO will be in attendance and are offering a special presentation to all show attendees. You can meet these and other movers and shakers in the industry up close and personal! Mom and Pops, small, medium and large size businesses will all gather in 2013 at the Kentucky Exhibition Center in Louisville for the best networking and deal making event that kicks off the new year. In 2012, over 1500 total attendees arrived, we expect 2013 to draw even more professionals like yourself.

We are also planning and exploring other seminar topics, so stay tuned for the latest reports right here at MHProNews.com.

The enthusiasm and feedback from the 2012 year's event was so great, that we had to expand to the North Wing of the Kentucky Exhibition Center in order to accommodate the growing numbers of attendees and companies exhibiting. Forget the hype, these are the facts!

I have been participating as a supplier exhibitor at the Louisville show for more than thirty years now.  Even during the lean years of the past, it has been a valuable tool in my marketing efforts.  The current high level of client interest tells me that this will be a great year for me at the show not only for exhibitor, but also for visitors.

Senate Banking Committee Approves GSE Reform Bill

On May 15th, the Senate Banking Committee approved legislation (currently unnumbered) on a 13-9 vote that would eliminate Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and overhaul the nation's secondary housing finance market. The bill, authored by Chairman Tim Johnson (D-SD) and ranking member Mike Crapo (R-ID), now moves to the full Senate. A floor vote this year appears unlikely after several key Democrats on the panel voted against the plan out of concern that it goes too far in eliminating the current system and does not do enough to preserve affordable housing finance options. The bill expands on legislation introduced last year by Sens. Bob Corker (R-TN) and Mark Warner (D-VA) and replaces Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a system where the government would explicitly guarantee big losses in the housing market but...
