The many variables of search engine optimization often confuse and intimidate people. However, implementing these three easy tips is a great way to start seeing improvement in your website rankings!

1 Good website content

This can be more challenging than you think. Creating good website content involves producing content that people are searching for using keywords. To craft effective website content, determine what keywords should be spread throughout the site. Brainstorm the top search terms your target audience may be using to find companies like yours. And, be sure to spread the keywords flawlessly into the copy. Plopping keywords into the content without a natural flow will only make your business look unprofessional. Some popular keyword examples in the manufactured housing industry (and possibly for your company) may include manufactured home, factory-built, mobile home, manufactured housing community, modular home, etc. It's best to cater the keywords directly to your business and make them as specific as possible.

2 Connect with high traffic websites

Search engines measure the quality of your site by the amount of high traffic websites that link to you, as well as the number of high traffic sites you link to from your own site. The more credible websites associated with you, the more the search engines trust and view you as being credible. As a member of the manufactured housing industry, you may decide to link to manufactured housing associations, manufactures, etc.

3 Page titles

A page title is the descriptive phrase that appears at the very top bar of your browser window. Include keywords in the page title to drive traffic to your site. Text in the page title is weighed of heavier value than the keywords that are scattered throughout the content on your site. Avoid overly simple page titles like the name of your company without any keywords, or worse, utilizing the word "home" on its own.
