Let's start with a brief Fair Housing background. The federal Fair Housing Act (FHA) which prohibits, among other things, discrimination in the rental or sale of manufactured housing on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin is well known.

No one knows when adversity will strike – their career, a relationship, your health, finances or just life in general. This isn't just true in managing in manufactured housing, although it certainly applies. What follows is true about any field and any aspect of your life.
I recently presented at a large conference and was pleased at the attendance at one of my sessions (the competition was fierce – great speakers!). But I wondered if the good attendance was because I was misunderstood, as I had previously mentioned that I would be touching on a particular topic in that class. Someone asked me, "Whoring – is that a fair housing topic?" While a few attendees may have been disappointed because the topic of whoring was not actually on the agenda, I suspect many of them came to the class because they understood that the topic was "hoarding".
Yes, this year's Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is back again, bigger and better than ever! See why dozens of homes and many times more exhibitors will join with hundreds of attendees (we had 970 last year!, plus the exhibitors!) to make this the come back story of 2011.
Stop and ask yourself this question, “Are you selling to your customers or are they choosing to buy from you?” This question applies to those selling business to business or business to consumer in the manufactured housing and modular home spaces.

Everyone should have a working understanding of the 4 "P’s" of marketing – Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. Sometimes people even sneak in a fifth "P" – People – also very important.
