Tracked Housing Stocks mostly Fall; Dow Hits another New High

Despite relatively sluggish and cautious behavior by investors, the Dow hit another all time high, rising +0.14%, +21.32 points to end the day of trading at 15,783.10. CNNMoney reports the Nasdaq nudged up +0.01 percent, +0.56 points, to end the day at 3,919.79 while the S&P edged up points, +0.07 percent, +1.28 points, to close at 1,771.89. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite fell -0.49 percent to close at 799.9. Housing stocks we track in today’s trading mostly closed down or even, although Third Avenue Value Fund eked out a gain of +1.03 percent, moving up +0.59 points, to end at 57.89. Skyline Corp. fell the most of stocks we follow, -3.18 percent, -0.15 points, to end the day at 4.50. Affiliated Managers Group 201.09 -1.42 (-0.70%). Cavco Industries, Inc. 55.91 -1.13 (-1.99%).
