October 19th, 2012 Comments off

Dennis Hill and Show Ways Unlimited, Inc. are proud to announce the launching of the Louisville Manufactured Housing Show 2013 website. The website provides a robust display of specific seminars, exhibiting manufacturers, service and supply vendors that will be at the show, in addition to some of the movers and shakers in our Industry. Don Glisson Jr. MHI’s new chairman and CEO of Triad Financial Services will be among the movers and shakers who will meet, mingle with and address attendees. In 2012, over 1500 industry professionals attended and exhibited—more are expected in 2013. The Jan. 23-25, 2013 event will feature 38 homes on display, the largest indoor show in North America. This will be some 40% larger than the 2012 event. Among the dozens of positive comments about the new website, Tifannee McCall, National Accounts Manager for MWHC said:”…it is exciting to know that time and resources are being utilized in promoting the show. As our industry positions itself to move forward and business models change it seems only a natural transition to promote the show and all it has to offer electronically.” Bob and Janet McDonald said: “The Louisville show is a MUST see. I was very impressed at the last show and I can’t wait to see the exhibitors at this year’s Louisville show.” The Website was built by MHMarketingSalesManagement – a related operation of MHProNews.com – for the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation (MMHF), the parent body of the Louisville Show. Ron Thomas, successful retailer, community operator and show Chairman touted the Money Tree business building seminars, the many networking opportunities and the top indoor facility for this type of indoor event, all featured on the new website. Coordinator Dennis Hill wrote in an e-mail, “With this new website, we are providing professionals like you more of the sights and sounds of what makes the Louisville Manufactured Housing Show the granddaddy of them all!” www.LouisvilleManufacturedHomeShow.com

May 15th, 2012 Comments off

InsuranceNewsNet says Don Glisson, Jr. Chairman and CEO of Triad Financial Services has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the state-run Citizens Property Insurance Corp. by Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater. Citizens offers insurance to homeowners who cannot obtain coverage through private markets, many of whom live in manufactured housing communities, often on the coast where they are vulnerable to hurricanes. Triad is the oldest manufactured housing finance company in existence. In June of 2010 Glisson was named by the Jacksonville Business Journal as a “Ultimate CEO.” A May 8, 2012 story by MHProNews.com told how Citizens, which is now the largest insurer in the state with nearly 1.5 million policies, is reducing its client base so private insurers will return to the market.

purple cow show home credit patriothomesblogMHProNews.com has learned that praise for the Midwest Manaufactured Housing Federation’s show continues. “I was pleasantly surprised at our attendance at the 2011 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show…I knew the 50 year history of the show and the spirit of our industry would bring us back.” said Darrell Boyd, with Triad Financial Services. “The traffic at our exhibitor booth was brisk and it seemed the renewed positive attitude of the attendees was infectious and spilled over during the show. I talked to many other exhibitors and manufacturers and they agreed with my sentiment. With the 2012 show approaching, I’m eagerly looking forward to our continued renewed growth.” Boyd stated.  Scott MacFarlane, Vice President of National Sales Operations for U.S. Bank Manufactured Housing Services echoed the sentiment by saying,  “In 2011, we were very pleased with the results we achieved at the Louisville Show and all my account executives who attended in 2011 responded on how happy they were with the retailers they were able to talk to at the show. We are very excited about attending the 2012 Show.”  Triad and U.S. Bank will both be part of a free workshop planned for manufactured housing community operators, developers and retailers on new and updated finance programs that will take place during the 2012 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show.  “The drive and resourceful nature of Dennis Hill (at Showways Unlimited) and the MMHF once again amazed and inspired everyone with the success of the 2011 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show.” said Mike East, with Digital Leveling Systems.  The Louisville Show “…is simply the official “kickoff” of the new year each season. It’s like opening the door and turning the lights on for the new year and saying “OK, We’re Open For Business-Let’s Get Going.” East explained, adding: “To miss the Louisville Show is like forgetting to flip the “OPEN” sign over in the front window. It’s just not right and leaves you with that gut feeling you missed something. So don’t miss a thing in 2012!”
