We’ll bring you the exclusive, glass-ceiling -shattering plan for a successful, independent HUD and MOD producer’s operation to have a woman take over the top spot.

Nettlesome November 2015 Issue Goes Live Tuesday Night

November 1st, 2015 Comments off

NettlesomeNovember2015IssueMHProNews-com-The new features articles for the “Nettlesome November” issue of MHProNews are scheduled to go live Tuesday night – November 2, 2015. There will be over 20 new featured articles, including a number of videos.

Besides MH legal, community, news, marketing and other staples, there are 7 articles by and/or about associations.  Those 7 articles and commentary by third parties will shed light on what associations do and the controversies that surround MH associations.

We’ll bring you an in-depth interview with the CEO of a major, respected and award-winning MH firm that says, “Some people are not going to like what I am saying, but I stand behind my thoughts 100%.”  He’s right, there is  little doubt that his commentary about MH associations will spark controversies and keen discussions within MH circles that will ripple from coast-to-coast.

MH Rising, But…

The MH industry is over 5 years into its recovery from the deepest economic hit it has ever taken.

Editorially speaking, the MH Industry is poised for a much bigger recovery. What has made a more robust MH recovery more elusive?  Many of the articles in the Nettlesome November issue of MHProNews will examine that important topic.

Nettles are prickly plants reputed to have good health benefits. The health of the MH industry is determined day-by-day through the actions that professionals, investors, public officials and consumers take.  Some of those challenges are prickly – and like nettles – grasping them wisely and properly will be beneficial to many.

The image of our industry shapes and limits our outcomes. But we in turn can shape that image too.  Our industry can jujitsu the challenges faced into greater opportunities.

MH Legal, news, community, retail, marketing, sales, inspirational and the controversial association issue…all of that, with videos and more are scheduled to go live on the home page Tuesday night.

Don’t miss it. ##

The Tunica Manufactured Housing Show Will Go On!

June 26th, 2014 Comments off

dennis-hill-showways-unlimited-host-l-a-tony-kovach=mhpronews-manufacturedhomes-com-manufactured-housing-news-Questions have been coming in about the status of the 2015 Tunica Show, given Harrah’s closure of the site where the manufactured housing show has been held for the past 17 years.

Dennis Hill at Show Ways Unlimited, the trade show’s coordinator, has told us that alternative options are in hand. Plans that incorporate those options are being considered and that a recent trip to Tunica with Keith Bennett – the Tunica Show Chairman – identified backup options, should those be needed.

“The Show will go on, there is no question about that fact.” said Dennis Hill to “Once all the details are worked out, we will make a formal announcement. Exhibitors and attendees alike should plan for a 2015 Tunica Show that will be as robust as ever.”

As a programing note, RV MH Hall of Fame inductee Dennis Hill will be featured in an upcoming exclusive video interview in July, in a behind the scenes look at what happens at a trade show such as Louisville or Tunica. Hill is one of the under-sung heroes of our industry, and the video will be of keen interest to thousands of industry professionals.

That video and article with Dennis Hill will go live on the MHProNews home page – along with 9 other “Inside MH” videos, A Cup of Coffee with…Barry Cole (soon to be inducted into the RV-MH Hall of Fame) plus other new featured articles and reports. The new features should be live by this time next week. ##

June 21st, 2013 Comments off

cup-of-coffee-ani-150x150-The exclusive interviews of manufactured housing industry ‘C-Suite’ leaders, executives and business owners has fueled growing – and glowing – interest in readership here at MHProNews. These in turn yield an improved understanding and respect for the MH Industry at large by investors, professionals or researchers who also find and read the popular “A Cup of Coffee with…” (Cuppa) series of interviews our online trade media publishes.

Among the interviews that are up and coming will be A Cup of Coffee with…Tim Williams, CEO of 21st Mortgage Corp. Currently featured interviews with Equity Lifestyle Properties (ELS) CEO, Marguerite Nader and Cavco Industries Chairman, Joe Stegmayer are hot reads which have boosted readership in other news, commentary and featured articles on the MHProNews website.
Previous interview articles can also be accessed. These include award winning manufactured housing retailer Mike Evans, MHCommunities movers and shakers Randy Rowe and Sam Landy, industry lenders such as Triad’s Don Glisson Jr. or First Guarantee Mortgage’s Andrew Peters, elected officials such as Joe Donnelly, association leaders and dozens of others found at the Cuppa link.
