The Town Council of China Grove, North Carolina approved an eight home site subdivision on N.C. 152, according to what salisburypost tells MHProNews. Peyton Crossing was approved by the council in 2008, just as the country was experiencing the housing downturn, but that approval was only good for two years.
The eight homes will be be modular, or stick-built, on the four acres. Town Planner Franklin Gover said no specific restrictions were connected to the re-approval of the build, which did not receive any “no” votes.
Water to Peyton Crossing would be provided by Salisbury-Rowan Utilities, and each home would have a septic system for sewer. Gover said no additional infrastructure wold be required. China Grove is north of Charlotte. ##
