Skyline Picks Foxworthy to Head Operations

jeff_newport__new_vp_operations_Skyline__linkedin__creditMHroNews has learned from prnewswire former president of Goldshield Fiberglass Jeff Newport has been chosen by Skyline Corp. of Elkhart, Indiana as Vice President of Operations, overseeing the manufacturing, purchasing and quality operations for all nine of the company’s divisions.

At Goldshield, he spearheaded initiatives that resulted in a 400 percent increase in profitability. Previously he headed operations at Rinker Boats and Dutchmen Manufacturing.

Rich Florea, President and CEO of Skyline Corporation, said, “Jeff’s diverse background in operations management, business development and proven execution capabilities give him a unique combination of skills necessary to lead operations at a time when the fundamental structure of the industry is changing.”

From nine facilities in eight states, Skyline (NYSE:SKY) produces manufactured and modular homes and park models distributed throughout North America.

Originally founded in 1951, Skyline’s total sales in fiscal 2015 hit $186.9 million. ##
