Following up on an article MHProNews published April 3, 2015 regarding the continuing rise in new HUD Code manufactured home shipments, we have learned from the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) shipments of single-section homes rose 13.6 percent and multi-section increased 6.1 percent Feb. 2015 over Feb. 2014. Total floors shipped in Feb. 2015 numbered 7,263, an increase of 8.3 percent over Feb. of 2014.

The seasonally adjusted annual rate of shipments in Feb. 2015 hit 67,398, a drop of 4.9 percent from the 70,837 in Jan. 2015. The number of active corporations in Feb. 2015 was 38, with plants reporting production numbering 121, the same as the previous month. ##
