Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) moved up +2.71 percent to close at 1152.1. All but one manufactured housing related stocks we cover closed up or even. Louisiana Pacific advanced more than other stocks, moving up +3.68 percent to close at $18.03, although Affiliated Managers Group moved up +3.46 percent, to close at $176.34. Patrick Industries was the only tracked stocks that fell, -2.25 percent, to end the day at $40.03.
On the Big Board:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained sharply +1.42 percent, +247.66 points, to finish at 17,737.16.
The NASDAQ advanced more than the other two major indices, +1.79 percent, +89.18 points, to end the day above 5,000. at 5075.20.
The S&P 500 gained +1.62 percent, +33.14 points, to close at 2,083.58.
