Most Tracked Manufactured Housing Stocks Rise, including the MHCV

stock_report_May_14CNNMoney says: Verizon buys AOL for $4.4 billion, Germans are buying gold at a frantic pace (people typically invest in gold when they fear for their economic future), and Whole Foods is preparing to offer a lower cost line of goods.

Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) gained +2.18 percent, reversing four days of losses to close at 663.6. Most manufactured housing stocks we cover advanced, or closed even, in today’s trading. Patrick Industries moved up more than other stocks we follow, +2.89 percent, while Nobility Homes fell more than other tracked stocks, -4.44 percent.

On the Big Board:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 1.06 percent, +191.75 points, to close at 18,252.24.

The NASDAQ moved up +1.39 percent, +69.11 points, to close at 5,050.80.

The S&P 500 also gained, +1.08 percent, +22.62 points, to end at 2,121.10.
