Modular Housing Proposed for the Homeless

A report from Australia revealing nearly 70 percent of homeless services around the country is not meeting the demand has prompted community groups to call for politicians to respond to the need in their lead-up to the coming elections. The Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS) says 50,000 units of housing are urgently needed, according to what frasercoastchronicle.com.au tells MHProNews. While neither major political party has issued a policy statement on addressing homelessness, The Greens have proposed providing modular apartments for those with modest means.
