Modular Housing on Tap for Homeless in Guam

According to pacificnewscenter.com, included in Guam’s Gov. Eddie Calvo’s 2014 State of the Island address is construction of transitional housing to accommodate up to 15 homeless households composed of adults only. With funding from the public health department, the Guam Housing Corporation (GHC) is leading the effort to find appropriate building sites, and to keep the housing affordable is strongly considering light gauge modular construction methods. MHProNews.com has learned GHC is consulting with various homeless service providers to develop the program design and support services needed. ##
