Modular Home Builder Acquires Competitor

ModularHomeCoach informs MHProNews.com Canadian modular home builder Alouette Homes has been acquired by Quebec modular homes manufacturer Bonneville Homes. According to Danny Bonneville, co-president of Bonneville, “This acquisition will double the size of our production facilities and allow us to move forward with the ambitious growth program we introduced a few years ago.” While the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, Bonneville, the largest producer of factory-built homes in Quebec, will be able to produce 1,000 homes a year. With 300 current employees, Bonneville will take over Alouette’s model home site at Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby and the plant at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle.
