Military Modulars Repurposed in Tornado Torn Texas

The May 15, 2013 tornado that tore through a Hood County, Texas neighborhood left six people dead, and damaged or destroyed nearly 270 homes. MHProNews has learned many of the dwellings were older factory-built units, and 60 were Habitat for Humanity homes in Rancho Brazos. While rebuilding efforts are continuing, including 11 planned Habitat homes, at last count 12 families are set to receive modular homes that were used in the military, and star-telegram.com states more are expected to arrive in coming months.
