MHC ordered to Hire New Management

shoreline trailer court  arnold gold  new haven register  ceditFollowing a story MHProNews last posted Oct. 23, 2013, the Shoreline Trailer Court in Branford, Connecticut may lose its license to operate if a new management company is not brought on board by Oct. 1, according to nhregister.com. A proposal submitted by community management Renaissance Collaborative last fall did not meet standards set by the state’s Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) to correct numerous health and safety violations, so the DCP issued its own remediation plan with fines to be levied if certain benchmarks are not met. One section of the remediation plan calls for the removal of rodents and other vermin living under some of the manufactured homes (MH). Another section of the order requires management to remove five abandoned MH. In the past several weeks demolition crews have been dismantling the homes. ##
