The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports  statistics from the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) reveal production of HUD Code manufactured homes hit 4,151 units in Feb. 2013, six more than the 4,145 in Feb. 2012. Total industry production for 2013 is 3.2 percent higher than for the same period last year, 8,393 over 8,128. As MHProNews has learned, Texas continues to lead as the top shipment state, followed by Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, and North Carolina.
