Manufactured Homes Overlooking Pacific very Pricey

While many of the Malibu, California rich and famous have $25 million and up beach estates, just a few blocks away in Paradise Cove Mobile Home Park a manufactured home may sell for $300,000, although one is currently listed at $3.75 million, according to Zillow.com. It is a 2,200-square-foot, four-bedroom triple-section manufactured home (MH) with access to one of the toniest surfing beaches in the city, MHProNews has been informed. Realtor David Carter recently sold an MH for $2.1 million in the Cove. Meanwhile, Point Dume MHC on Zuma Beach to the north is a country club compared to the surfers at Paradise Cove, with golf carts taking residents to the beautiful beaches. Both communities thrived in the 1960s and 1970s as celebrities sought rentals on the beach.

According to onlinereports.com, Pamela Anderson, Minnie Driver and Matthew McConaughey have all lived at Paradise Cove. For more information,  please click here. For a related CBS News video, click here.
