Manufactured Home Retailer Allegedly Absconds with Customers’ Funds

angel_nabarette__cbs7__fraud_in_Odessa_txAfter receiving what he said were threats following a CBS7 report that his son was allegedly taking advantage of customers in his manufactured home business, Odessa, TX businessman Angel Nabarette said of his son’s business, “If anything needs to be reported, it’s that Five Star Manufactured Homes is ripping people off.”

Nabarette senior also wants its known that his own business, AN Finance, is not connected with his son’s MH firm, as MHProNews has learned.

CBS7 began uncovering cliams of people who allege they have given him deposits ranging from $5 thousand to $20 thousand for homes that have yet to appear, and thay all say Angel Nabarette, Jr. was the man to whom they gave money. One family is living in a tent because their home did not materialize.

CBS7 said they have been unsuccessful in their attempts to each him for his side of the story. Meanwhile, 11 people have come forward alleging they gave him money for MH. The Ecton County Sheriff’s Department did confirm the existence of an investigation into the matter. ##
