Kentucky Manufactured Housing Institute Awards Scholarship

kentucky_manufactured_housing_instituteMHProNews has learned from owentonnewsherald the Kentucky Manufactured Housing Institute (KMHI) has announced Sparta, Kentucky resident Arielle M. Columbia has been named as a 2016 KMHI Scholarship Award recipient. She received one of five $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating high school students who currently live in manufactured housing in KY.

A senior at Owen County High School with a 3.702 GPA for four years, Arielle participated in school and community activities while working part-time, and intends to pursue a nursing degree at Northern Kentucky University.

Applicants are chosen based on scholastic record, extracurricular activities, community involvement, original essay and letters of recommendation. The KMHI Scholarship can be applied toward tuition at any college, university, technical or vocational school. ##
