Goliath Expanding in Texas

MyWestTexas tells MHProNews housing supplier Goliath Industries, responding to the urgency one year ago for oilfield housing, quickly sited 21 leased modular housing units to accommodate 50 workers southwest of Odessa, Texas. From clearing the land to welcoming the first occupants took a mere four weeks, but now the company will be removing those structures while installing new two and three-bedroom units that will be more permanent. Ed Parker, Goliath’s regional sales manager, says, “That particular customer’s lease is up, and it’s an opportune time to upgrade the facility and to get another tenant coming in.” Goliath has a 200 unit facility in Pecos, also serving the workers for the Eagle Ford Shale oilfield, but that will be expanded to 600 units. Based in Grand Junction, Colo., Goliath has a mancamp in the Bakken oilfields of North Dakota, as well as facilities near its home in Colo.
