Florida Modular Homes Headed to Canada

FloridaToday reports Deland, Florida-based ConSol International, LLC is shipping eight modular homes from Port Canaveral to an indigenous First Nation community in Labrador, part of Newfoundland on the Atlantic Coast of Canada. Con Sol’s co-owner Chris Wallington says he typically uses the Port of Jacksonville, to ship his modular homes, which mostly go south to the Caribbean islands. However, Port Canaveral is closer, reducing travel expense as well as potential wear and tear on the modular homes from a longer road trip. MHProNews has learned ConSol began in 2002 in Bermuda as a broker for overseas contractors, but has expanded to Florida and now  includes its own manufacturing operations.
