Dow, S&P set Records; Cavco Gains most of Tracked Stocks

The U. S. stock market had a banner day today after the Dow closed above 15,000 for the first time ever and investors drove the S&P 500 to another new high. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +0.58 percent, +87.31 points, to end the day at 15,056.20. The Nasdaq gained +0.11 percent, +3.66 points, to finish at 3,396.63, while the S&P hit a new high, gaining +0.52 percent, +8.46 points, to close at 1625.96. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite remained unchanged at 1700.1. Most of the stocks we track closed up, or even, with Cavco Industries., Inc, gaining the most, moving up +4.38%, +1.96, to close at 46.76. Drew Industries fell the most of stocks we track, -0.39%, -0.14 points, to end the trading session at 35.94. Affiliated Managers Group 156.73 +0.92 (+0.59%). Clayton Homes, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as MH home-building, lending and other housing suppliers parent company Berkshire Hathaway 164,690 -300.00 points (-0.18%). Champion, Liberty Homes and Palm Harbor continued unchanged. Deer Valley remained at 0.74. Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. 83.98 +0.39 (+0.47%). Louisiana Pacific Industries 18.89 +0.12 (+0.64%). Nobility Homes remained unchanged at 5.60. Patrick Industries 20.93 +0.02 (+0.05%). Skyline Corp 4.89 -0.01 (-0.20%). Sun Communities, Inc. 52.76 +0.77 (+1.48%).
