Meanwhile, the Yahoo Manufactured Housing Composite Value (MHCV) fell -2.94 percent to close at 896.7. All except two manufactured housing related stocks we cover closed down or even—some more volatile than usual. Deer Valley advanced the most, +8.33 percent, following its major loss yesterday of -7.69 percent, to close at $0.65. Sky line also gained, +4.06 percent. Carlyle Group fell the most of tracked stocks, -5.39 percent, to end the day at $20.02. All covered stocks that fell dropped three digits.

On the Big Board:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged -3.58 percent, -588.47 points, to finish the second day of precipitous falling, losing 1,089 in two days, ending the day at 15,871.28.

The NASDAQ dropped -3.82 percent, -179.79 points to close at 4,526.25.

The S&P 500 fell -3.94 percent, the most of all three indices, -77.65 points, to finish at 1,893.24.
