Continuing a tradition that began 22 years ago, Clayton Homes in Elkins, West Virginia, in coordination with 20 local businesses, sponsored its annual “Safe Trick-or-Treat” Tuesday night, Oct. 29 in a Clayton display home. General manager Judy Ritchie of Clayton says “We get phone calls starting two to three weeks before the event wanting to know if we’re having Halloween again.” She says they are now passing out treats to the second generation of kids whose parents came to the event as children, as wboy.com tells MHProNews. Clayton is the largest producer of manufactured homes in North America.
