MHProNews has learned from wcbi that Maryville, TN-based Clayton Homes has acquired all the assets of River Birch Homes of Hackleburg, AL, effective immediately. Gerald Terrell and Delmo Payne combined their experience into River Birch in 1997.

Payne said, “Since day one, our motto has always been: ‘Q. V. S.’ – quality, value and service. We build a quality house, price it competitively and provide professional service after the sale. All three are equally important to earn business year after year.”

Noting the addition of River Birch as their 37^th facility, Keith Holdbrooks, president of the Clayton Home Building Group, said, “We are thrilled to become members of the Hackleburg community. Delmo and Gerald have done an excellent job in creating a solid brand with River Birch Homes and we look to continue the good work they have already started.”

Employing nearly 240 people from the larger Hackleblurg community, River Birch offers single and multi-section manufactured homes, marketing them through nine southeastern states.

The largest producer of manufactured homes in North America , Clayton has over 1,000 Home Centers nationwide. Through its affiliates and family of brands, Clayton builds, sells, finances, leases and insures Clayton-built manufactured and modular homes under 11 brands. ##
