Huge New Factory-Built Home Wholesale Liquidation Event Announced

July 16th, 2018 No comments

It’s an event that’s more than double the size of the Louisville manufactured housing trade show’s display.

This brand-new event is also much larger than the number of manufactured and tiny homes displayed at the factory-built housing industry’s Tunica Show.

Who’s making this special event happen?

AmericasFastestGrowingPrivateCompaniesINC5000ManufacturedHousingLegacyHousingDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

Out of millions of privately owned businesses, to be named to this prestigious list is an amazing accomplishment.

Out of millions of American businesses, they’ve been named as “one America’s Fastest Growing Companies” by Inc. Magazine.

Even during the industry’s most difficult times, the strong rise of Legacy Housing in Texas – and beyond – has been observed with keen interest by manufactured home industry professionals, and investors.

Legacy is now announcing a giant “hurricane overrun liquidation sale” at their Eatonton, GA facilities.

The upcoming event – set for September 12 and 13, 2018 – is for manufactured home communities and retailers, – a wholesale buyers only extravaganza.

So, it is not open to the general public.

Less than 2 years ago, Legacy moved into the expansive factory home building facility once operated by Horton Homes.

So Legacy Housing now has one of the largest factory home building production centers – perhaps the biggest in the country – according to various industry sources.  That means, they’re poised to support the growing demand for manufactured homes in the Southeastern U.S., including Florida and Tennessee.

A Legacy Retailer Sounds Off

The Daily Business News reached out to a Legacy Housing retailer that’s sold their products for several years for comments about the popular, and growing company.

Legacy is a partner you can grow with long term. Very good product, they have special retail financing programs, and a liberal floorplan [wholesale financing] program for their dealers too,” said Gus Rodriguez, a principal at Tejas Homes.

Management sources at Legacy tell MHProNews that they are now the #4 producer of HUD Code manufactured homes in the U.S. It’s an impressive rise to prominence in a short period of time.

Their leadership’s eyes are set on more growth. As prices on new inventory have been rising for all builders, this Legacy event offers manufactured home (MH) retailers and MH Communities in the South Eastern U.S., Florida, and Tennessee the opportunity to restock at special prices and terms.

“Fear Mongering,” and Manufactured Housing Advancement

It’s going to get worse, before it gets better.”

–         Jim Reitzner, Asset Development Group (ADG).!

It’s about the rule of law.

It’s about laws that make good sense and were properly passed by the representatives of the people.

And the rule of law is going to be front and center with respect to the nation, and manufactured housing (MH) in the months ahead.

Who says?

Several MH industry, and national, voices.  Some examples.

donaldtrumpnominatesbencarsonashousingsecretarycreditmhpronews2-postedtothedailybusinessnewsmhpronewsmhlivingnews

Kurt Kelley. Credit: MHProNews.

The role of judges in the US is to rule on what laws apply and what they mean.  Only when laws are ambiguous should the meaning of the law be determined by sources outside the written law itself,” said manufactured housing industry attorney, Kurt Kelley to MHProNews. “And when there is ambiguity, that source must only be from writings contemporaneous with the written law.  Seeking any other outside sources results in random results or results which are the product of a judge’s biases.  The concept of a “Living Constitution” is an prescription for results that reflect whatever biases a judge has.  Predictability in the law is a prerequisite to predictable liberties and thriving commerce.

Once again staying true to his campaign promises, President Trump just nominated Brett Kavanaugh as his pick to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court. It’s an excellent choice — though the coming wave of fear-mongering may hide that fact for a while,” the New York Post Editorial Board writes.

Judge Kavanaugh, 53, is widely seen as one of the top legal minds of his generation — so much so that now-Justice Elena Kagan recruited him to teach at Harvard Law, where students across the spectrum rave about him,” per that NY Post editorial.

Judge Kavanaugh understands the proper role of the judiciary and will faithfully honor the Constitution. That’s why I will lift heaven and Earth to see that he is confirmed,” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) writes in the Washington Examiner. “He will be a strong, principled voice on the Supreme Court.”

MarkWeissManufacturedHousingAssociationForRegulatoryReformMHARRPresidentCEOMHProNews

Mark Weiss, President and CEO of the Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR).

The rule of law, and the supremacy of law over the arbitrary whims of individuals who happen to wield government power, was a profound concern for the founders who debated and developed the Constitution of the United States. For over two centuries, legal scholars have pointed to the primacy of the “rule of law” in the system of limited government and defined powers established by the Constitution, stating, for example: “The rule of law may be the most significant and influential accomplishment of Western constitutional thinking. The very meaning and structure of our Constitution embody this principle. Nowhere expressed yet evident throughout the Constitution, this bedrock concept is the first principle on which the American legal and political system was built.”

–   Mark Weiss, J.D., President and CEO of the Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR).

The Battle Over the Rule of Law

Needless to say, there are a range of voices that disagree.

That tension was dramatically showcased just minutes after the announcement of Judge Kavanaugh, when anti-Trump protesters were prepared to protest any nominee he would name.

StopJudgeBrettKavanaughManufacturedHousiingIndustryDailyBusinessNewsMHproNews

Reports indicated that anti-Trump protestors had signs made up for each of the most likely nominees for replacing retiring Justice Anthony “Tony” Kennedy. These are not spontaneous protests, they are carefully organized and are well funded.

Some of those protesters at the Supreme Court on Monday are reportedly politically aligned with forces that have ties to the MH Action, leftist protest group.

Behind So-Called “MH Resident Activists,” MHAction’s Kevin Borden, Anti- HUD Secretary Ben Carson, Manufactured Housing Industry Protests

Knowing that protests in front of the Supreme Court Building would draw cameras and headlines, it is part of the stage-crafted use of mainstream media. It raises a range of questions that will be explored in the days ahead.  The same points are true for the MH Action group, only on a far smaller scale.

Suffice it to say for now,

  • that however qualified Judge Kavanaugh may be,
  • and however important his being confirmed is for all business,
  • including the manufactured home industry’s,
  • return to a rule of law — it will be strongly opposed.

Those opponents will be examined by MHProNews in the coming days.

Dependability, Certainty in Law Are Essential for Business, for Workers, and Commerce

Industry attorneys Weiss, Kelley plus those cited above all argue for a dependable rule of law, that is the bedrock of the authentically American system.  Certainty is one of the most common terms used by investors in manufactured housing.   Warren Buffett phrases it differently, at times – such as his point about an industry or business having a durable competitive advantage – but the point is similar.

How Warren Buffett Built Berkshire Hathaway Investment Empire, Infographic

Why are hundreds of billions of dollars pouring back into the United States? Yes, tax reform is an important part of the motivation.

But another key part is ‘Regulatory Reform,’ which President Donald J. Trump has himself touted repeatedly. Dependable, common sense regulations can harm or advance business, and thus harms or advances job creation too.

Regulatory reform is also a theme which MHARR and the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) have both been successfully arguing for in Washington.

While NFIB, which sources there have told the Daily Business News reportedly has a similar number of manufactured housing business members as MHI, and whose total numbers dwarf all of manufactured housing employment combined, MHARR is laser focused on regulations that have specifically harmed manufactured housing.

Weiss argues for enforcement of laws that could create millions of new manufactured home owners in the coming years.

The thrust of Weiss’ thesis is enforcement of existing laws, especially at HUD, which is the prime federal regulator of manufactured homes.

Left, Right, Center?

The problem with activist judges is that they undermine the rule of law. They also undercut the proper role of the legislative branch, which alone is given authority in the Constitution to make new laws.

Fear-mongering” is exactly what is already taking place, mostly by the political left, but also from some in the “never Trump” camp. For the left, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has been a useful tool to get or defend positions which on their face are found no where in the Constitution.

When now Justice Clarence Thomas was undergoing his confirmation hearings, he went thought a barrage of attacks which he called “a high-tech lynching.”

Volunteer, family man, praised legal mind, and literarily an altar boy in his youth, Brett Kavanaugh could well face his own high-tech lynching.

It’s the price some are paying to drain the swamp of what Weiss called the “deep state” efforts in Washington that have harmed our industry for well over a decade.

The Importance for Businesses and Investors in Manufactured Housing for Selecting the Next Supreme Court Justice

Kelley’s prior comments on this topic are linked above, while Weiss’ new commentary are found at the link below.

The Fourth of July is not about Barbecues, or Fireworks, It’s About This – Stossel

July 4th, 2018 No comments

4thofJulyNotAboutBBQsorFireworksItsAboutthisstosselDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

We celebrate the Fourth of July because that’s the day the Declaration of Independence was signed, 242 years ago. You might call July 4 America’s birthday,” said Stossel in the Reason video posted below, and quoted on Fox News.

The Declaration didn’t just declare our independence from Britain; it vowed to create a government that respected all people’s rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” said Stossel.

America became great because the Declaration (and the Constitution that followed) set down rules that kept government small and out of the way,” stated the author and TV personality, Stossel,  “That [freedom from government] let creative individuals flourish.”

JohnStosselWikiPostedManufacturedHousingINdustryDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

Thomas Jefferson and his colleagues wrote the Declaration to assert that our “natural rights” could not be taken away by any government, and to set the stage for the creation of a government through which people could rule themselves,” the libertarian leaning Stossel wrote.

At the time, America was considered a backwater. Just a few years later, America had become the most prosperous, and probably the freest, country in the world.” – and that last line hits a point that the Daily Business News on MHProNews has hit home upon numerous times over the years.  Generally, the more limited government power is over its citizens, the greater our freedom and the higher our potential earning power.

Note that the video is similar, but different from the quoted text.

The Fourth of July is…about that idea: that people have the right to rule themselves,” within specific limits, of course, that are designed to keep some from harming others.

Trust no man with too much government power,” wrote Jefferson. “(B)ind them with the chains of the Constitution.”

By limiting the federal government – and likewise limiting state and local governments – “We, the People” are able to retain the maximum fruits of our labors.

It’s good that the Declaration and Constitution have those “chains.” No matter how insistent the state’s busybodies get, they may not arbitrarily search our homes or jail us. We have a right to bear arms, to practice whatever religions we choose, to exercise free speech and more,” declares Stossel.

He explains that the Constitution which followed the successful revolution in America created a division of power.  Again, the purpose was to keep any branch of government from becoming too strong.

Mindful of the experience with England, Americans didn’t want a domestic king or tyrant to rule over them.  Dividing the powers of government up, and reserving all of the other rights to “We, the People” is how the founders sought to protect citizens.

Unfortunately, those limits on government haven’t exactly kept government small,” Stossel laments.  “Thomas Jefferson wanted “a wise and frugal government” that leaves people “free to regulate their own pursuits.” Now we’ve got 180,000 pages of federal rules and $21 trillion in debt.”

But among the reasons for that erosion of personal freedom in the U.S. is arguably because too many Americans have lost sight of why the colonists sought freedom in the first place.  Our industry has suffered from over-reach at all levels of government. The result?  Affordable housing is in decline in almost every part of the nation.

The American Dream, Manufactured Homes, and America’s Independence Day

Stossel’s ode-to-independence is thought provoking, and coupled with regular doses of other MHProNews and MHLivingNews content, makes for useful inspirational and educational material to share with those who aren’t as informed on their rights as you, or supporters or we happen to be.

Achieving the American Dream, with Quality, Appealing, Affordable Home Ownership

The American Dream, Manufactured Homes, and America’s Independence Day

July 4th, 2018 Comments off

AmericanDreamManufacturedHomesandAmericasIndepenceDaySparklerUSFlagDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

Various forms of shelter – or housing – have been part of human history for thousands of years. The desire for homeownership is part of the American Dream, but it is more properly part of a larger struggle for freedom and independence.

On July 4, 1776, a group of men gathered in Philadelphia, PA to pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in a fight for independence from the king of England.

Freedom, independence, housing – all of these are woven together in various ways.

A relatively poor person who owns his, her or their own home is arguably more independent than another household that rents.

The renter is more independent than those who depend entirely on others to provide their shelter.

Yesterday, at the link below, the Daily Business News looked at the issue of manufactured homes vs. subsidized housing.

Affordable Housing, Subsidized Housing, Manufactured Homes, Private Property, and Proclaiming Liberty

For years, MHProNews and MHLivingNews has taken the position that subsidized housing is a threat to our industry.

But more than that, subsidized housing is a debatably costly, ill conceived, and failed system. Yesterday’s article on subsidized housing linked above outlines with facts and charts, why that controversial claim is so, plus why it matters to freedom loving people.

All across America – from Hawaii to the east coast of the U.S., and thousands of places in between – affordable housing is an issue that many experts call a crisis. Are those who struggle for housing truly free?

Drawn to the fulcrum of that crisis are manufactured homes (MH). Before June 15, of 1976, millions of mobile homes were part of that same, long struggle for affordable housing in America, and for greater independence.

As dedicated MHProNews readers learned, more than one American president has specifically addressed and praised our MH industry by name.

U.S. President Praised “The Mobile Home Industry,” Manufactured Homes are “Here to Stay”

Why?

Because we are a proven and essential part of the free enterprise solution to the affordable housing crisis.

Some 22 million Americans live in a pre-HUD Code Mobile Home or a post-HUD Code Manufactured Home.

TrailerHouseMobileHomeManufacturedHomeFactoryBuiltHousingEvolution101MHProNews-MHLivingNews

Make a habit of using the correct terminology.

Housing owners and all others are only as free as political, economic or safety issues allow them to be. That’s reality.

DeadwoodTheManufacturedHousingRevolutionYouMHLivngNewsDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

The protections the founders of the United States of America (USA) fought to include was for the security and privacy of people in one’s own residence.

Freedom has long been a struggle of the more organized and powerful vs. the less powerful.

Governments exist in theory to protect the rights of people. Candidly, that protection by government may only be for the rights of a few. The more a government is able to protect the weak or vulnerable from the ravages of crime, other forms of economic or political aggression, and warfare, the more noble it is seen as being to millions of modern minds.

The framers attempted to create a Republic that would offer the maximum protection for “We, the People.”

Manufactured homes provide affordable quality living for less. That’s an important theme celebrated on ManufacturedHomeLivingNews.com.

MostMenAppearnNeverConsideredWhatHouseIsNeedlesslyPoorAllTheirLivesHenryDavidThoreauManufacturedHomeLivingNews

For newcomers to this website, or those not yet familiar with modern manufactured homes, learn more by clicking the image above or the link here.

Few of us want to admit or aspire to being a slave or addict to anything or anyone. That’s true for our fellow Americans.

The men who signed the Declaration of Independence risked everything for freedom. Thanks to the risks taken by those property owners on that fateful, risky but glorious day, generations of Americans stand more free.  The path towards freedom has been difficult, there’s been stumbling and turmoil along the way, but the same has always been true at every time and place in world history.

Every nation, every society since the dawn of man has struggled for ways to safely protect and shelter people. We can thank God that we live here in the U.S.A., where hundreds of millions of others around the world long to be.

Why do millions globally dream of coming to America? Not because we are perfect, but because we are safer and more free.

Providing good, clean, safe, and appealing homes is a noble profession.

All of those who invest or work in part of the manufactured home industry should celebrate today, and every day that we are able to help others become more free.

The signs the protesters are carrying speak volumes, and ought to be troubling to professionals, investors and all other thinkers too.

The economy is moving again. Hundreds of billions in capital have already poured back into the U.S. during the first quarter of 2018. But it could all be turned upside down, depending on the outcomes of the 2018 midterms. And big, “dark money” is backing efforts that led to hundreds of weekend protests that could stymie the economic recovery, and upend the progress being made for manufactured housing and investors.

The political left, centrists, and the supporters of President Donald J. Trump are making the border and immigration key issues in the approaching 2018 midterms.

Manufactured housing industry professionals know that illegal immigrants are among those who buy HUD Code manufactured homes, or even pre-HUDCode mobile homes.

Some companies have set up special lending for those who are undocumented.

Several manufactured home producers found out the hard way that illegal immigrants are subject to arrest and deportation. MHProNews reported exclusively on a wave of ICE raids last year that impacted mostly independent producers of manufactured housing.

So immigration is a vexing, controversy-ridden hot-button issue for the industry and the nation.

But with some of the lowest unemployment rates in the U.S. since federal record-keeping, recent polling indicates that the popularity of President Trump, and his economic plan are winning over Hispanics, blacks, women, and more independents.

The coalition that former President Barack Obama and other Democrats before him organized, is being eroded. The normal playbook that progressive leaning politicos use against conservatives and the GOP in general has not worked as well against Donald Trump as it has against several others before him.

Democrats and their Supporters Are Concerned

Chuck Todd from left-of-center NBC, whose coverage is largely anti-Trump per third party sources, said on Sunday that the president is winning. But that doesn’t mean that the left is giving up.

Those large rallies that reportedly drew hundreds of thousands nationally didn’t spontaneously organize themselves. That many people requires planning, and money.

Who’s behind it?

The Daily Business News will hereby pull back the veil, so that professionals and investors can see who are the groups behind the weekend protests curtain. Their own statements will tell an important tale.

Weekend Anti-Trump Immigration Rallies

The main rally was held in Washington, D.C., but 628 sister rallies were planned for locations in all 50 states.

“(The) family separation crisis is not over. We have a situation where the Trump administration seems to be aiming to detain families,” said Karthik Ganapathy, a MoveOn.org spokesman, said per USA Today.

That took place even though on June 20, President Trump signed an executive order designed to stop family separations, which were a policy used to varying degrees by Presidents Bush and Obama too.

Beyond the president’s executive order, on June 26, a federal judge in California ordered immigration authorities on the border to reunite families within 30 days. So why did the rallies occur, when the predicated reason for it the are already being addressed?

What is MoveOn, and Where Did Their Money Come From?

Whether it’s supporting a candidate, passing legislation, or changing our culture, MoveOn members are committed to an inclusive and progressive future.” So says the MoveOn website.

Our rapid-response organizing and campaigning, communications interventions, digital innovation, rigorous data science and testing, and culture of grassroots participation have repeatedly combined to produce real-world impact, changing outcomes and making our country better,” according to MoveOn’s about us page.

In their short history section, MoveOn boldly states, “Since the 2016 election, we have formed a pillar of the Resistance to Trump.”

MoveOn came out big, endorsing Barack Obama before Super Tuesday in an unprecedented primary endorsement member vote,” stated MoveOn’s highlights page as of this morning.

MoveOn is strategic, and think big from the left.

In 2006, they touted their “unprecedented” mobilization efforts. “MoveOn member volunteers made 7 million phone calls, organized 7,500 house parties, and launched 6,000 in-district events.”

MoveOn led a multi-prong effort to brand the GOP as beholden to corporate special interests,” their website brags. What is interesting about that is the fact that third-party research indicates that more big corporations and big foundations are Democratic or progressive in their political and social orientation.

A list of the anti-Trump rally supporting groups involved is the weekend rallies is attached to this report, based on the organizers’ own website, and is found at this link here.  Many are reminders of a progressive organization’s “who’s who.”

In 2016, “MoveOn Political Action is in the midst of running an unprecedented campaign to draft Senator Elizabeth Warren into the presidential race.” Warren, is the left-wing firebrand that President Trump has dubbed “Pocahontas,” for her disputed claim for having Native American ancestry.

Warren was one of the driving forces behind Dodd-Frank, which former President Barack Obama championed.

Berkshire Hathaway chairman Warren Buffett supported POTUS Obama’s and candidate Secretary Hillary Clinton’s position on Dodd-Frank and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).  The linked reports can be read later for greater insight.

But interestingly, Warren has also come out against some of Warren Buffett’s positions, as MHProNews previously reported at this link here. Buffett supported Secretary Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Follow the Money

MoveOn was started in 1998, says FactCheck, as a defense of President Bill Clinton, who faced impeachment. Censure President Clinton and Move On to Pressing Issues Facing the Nation.”

FactCheck is supported by the “Annenberg Public Policy Center,” and other sources.

A major funder of MoveOn is billionaire George Soros, said FactCheck.

According to FactCheck, “Initial donors [to MoveOn] included billionaire George Soros, a major donor to liberal causes, who spent millions in 2004 trying unsuccessfully to defeat President Bush.”

Soros has been slammed by the Hungarian government’s Prime Minister Viktor Mihály Orbán.

Soros is a Hungarian by birth, and has supported open border policies in Europe as well as the United States. “Most recently, Soros has supported a liberal immigration policy in Europe as a response to the refugee crisis,” said the Atlantic in December of 2017.

MoveOn’sPolitical leanings: Democratic/Liberal,” stated FactCheck.

Last year, CNN reported that Soros gave a stunning $18 billion dollars to fund organizations and causes he supports.

Per CNN, “…George Soros has moved $18 billion to his foundation — the majority of his estimated $24.6 billion fortune.”

Sunday’s Mexican Elections…

Leftist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado, is known by the acronym, AMLO. López has tried and failed twice before to capture México’s presidency, noted the Times of Israel.

Mexican presidential candidate and Bernie Sanders doppelganger Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) declared mass immigration to the United States a “human right@realDonaldTrump to be prescient yet again in assessing the illegal immigration issue,” said Thread Reader, just days before the 2018 election yesterday of AMLO as México’s next president. That source claims Soros and his Open Society have been among those backing AMLO.

AMLO promised Mexicans to end corruption in their country, and double the Mexican minimum wage.

The Trump Administration is currently in the process of seeking to revamp the NAFTA trade agreement. The U.S. reportedly had a $71.1 billion in 2017, per the United States Trade Representative (USTR.gov).

So with the election of AMLO, Mexico is apparently about to embrace policies that have tuned once more prosperous Venezuela into in a socialist basket-case economy in roughly a decade. Will the U.S. see even more border crossings in the days ahead, if the Mexican economy falters?

A 2009 Gallup poll found that 165 million globally would like to move to the United States. Those kinds of numbers would totally destabilize the U.S. and our economy.

Gallup2009SurveyMOvingToAMerica165MillionWantComeUSA600ManufacturedHousiingIndustryDailyBusinessNewsMHproNews

While the humanitarian concerns are often rooted in a sincere desire to help those afflicted. But illegal immigration leads to human trafficking, rapes, avoidable deaths, and drugs smuggling into the U.S. the FAIR – the Federation for Immigration Reform, in data also cited by Wikipedia, said in Sept 2017 that “FAIR estimates the economic impact of illegal immigrants to be over $115 billion annually.”

The president, whose own wife – First Lady Melania Trump – is an immigrant, has said repeatedly that he is for legal immigration, but is opposed to all of the woes caused by illegal immigration. MS13 and angel parents – those who have lost children to crimes committed by illegal immigrants – are frequently by the Trump Administration as reasons for his proposed $25 billion dollar border wall.

Stage Managing News to Manipulate?

Protests are routinely followed by local, regional, or national news. So when hundreds of thousands turn out, and paint the Trump Administration as evil anti-immigrant racists, it’s clearly an effort to mobilize voters, and to tug at emotional heart-strings.

But is it working?

On June 22, UPI reported that More than half of American voters say parents are to blame when child migrants are separated from families illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a Rasmussen…”

Fundraising on the left and the right are pointing to the immigration issue. While anything can happen between now and the midterms, this is the front-and-center issue in the past few weeks.

Abraham Lincoln said, “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

Lincoln, America’s 16th President, also said that America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” – according to BrainyQuotes.

That doesn’t mean that there aren’t Benedict Arnold’s at work in America. Some of those who undermine America may have been immigrants to the U.S., and can we offer  the example of billionaire MoveOn backer George Soros? “We Provide, You Decide.” ©

Flag Day, POTUS Trump Doctrine, Supply, Demand, Financing, Affordable Housing, Jobs, Economic Growth, Human Dignity, and God

People crave dignity.

The System has been Rigged,” the 45th President of the United States (POTUS), Donald J. Trump, has said. He understands these realities.

POTUS Trump undertook to break the grip of those who’ve rigged the free markets that harm the opportunities, and diminish the dignity of tens of millions in our Republic.

That’s a worthy topic to consider on Flag Day, which happens to be the President’s, and this writer’s, birthday.

Millions have been misled by flawed education, and agenda-driven opinions masquerading as facts or news.

Dignity flows from many factors, including:

  • the pride of work,
  • rising earnings,
  • maximum opportunities,
  • innovation,
  • enriching human relationships,
  • the spiritual life,
  • a growing net worth,
  • which can be fueled by the security, and pride of home ownership.

The bullets above yields a healthier society, happier people, and offers the additional benefit of reducing the costs for government at all levels.

Common Sense Solutions that Boost Wealth for Everyday Americans

Small-town business expert, talk radio host, and author Tom Egelhoff plus myself share some common beliefs.  Those common principles caused us to do a joint article on how factory-crafted manufactured homes are a proven path to increased home ownership, that fuels the creation of more wealth for everyday Americans.

Egelhoff and myself also share a reason-based confidence in President Trump’s fine work on behalf of all Americans.

RevDonaldTyeJrBusinessmanManufacturedHousingAdvocateDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

Tye explained that public housing – an entitlement – often yields addiction. Ownership vs. renting or living in “projects” leads to integrity, a view he likens to those of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

ItsAsWrongtoUseNWordToDescribeBlackAsUseTWordTodescribeManufacturedHomeRevDonaldTyeJr.ManufacturedHousingNotT-railerNotNword

Isn’t this part of the antidote to the t-word issue?

Someone making a basic wage is unable to buy the typical, conventional house in America.

But millions priced out of conventional housing can buy a manufactured home.

When millionaires and even billionaires own a manufactured home, the rest ought to consider its wisdom too.  For example, POTUS Trump supporter and performer Kid Rock is one of those who owns a private jet, a Rolls Royce, and a manufactured home.

The Kid Rock video below uplifts – celebrates – those who own a lower cost house, be it a manufactured home, or an older conventional house.  Note to parents with kids at hand: the video has some salty language and suggestive images. The video has had over 16.4 million views as of 6.14.2018.

Daily Business News on MHProNews sources tell us that Vice President Mike Pence understands first-hand the value of manufactured homes, which along with RVs, are produced in his home state of Indiana, and elsewhere from coast-to-coast.

America First, Economic Nationalism are Common Sense

Peace, prosperity and security are all supported by the president’s most recent deal on behalf of Americans, Koreans, the people of Asia, and the nation-states of the world.

America First” is common sense.

Placing one’s homeland first is part of a new geopolitical framework the president is creating. It recognizes the inherent goodness of nationalism and cultural pride.

POTUS’ move away from globalism is a step toward the proven principles of solidarity, and subsidiarity.

Someday, historians may say that pragmatic economic nationalism, personal or cultural pride, solidarity, and subsidiarity are key contributions of what can be called “the Trump Doctrine.”

Tariffs and America First

There are elitists across the political spectrum that don’t understand, or won’t admit to, the fundamental common sense of economic tools such as tariffs.

By contrast, the president embraces their use.

When America was a young nation, tariffs protected our farmers and factories. Before the income tax, when the federal government was smaller, tariffs protected American jobs, plus paid much of the federal government’s expenses.

POTUS Trump no doubt knows what Pocket Sense expressed this way, “Prior to the passage of the 16th Amendment in 1913, the United States government funded its operations mainly through excise taxes, tariffs, customs duties and public land sales.”

PocketSenseFUndingUSGOvtBeforeINcomeTax

Given the numerous scandals, millions of man-hours of lost time, plus other problems with the current income tax system, is the president leading America back to the future by using tariffs in strategic ways?

TaxReformPragerUSteveForbesDailyBusinessNewsManufacturedHousingINdustryResearchDataReportsMHProNews

One doesn’t always know what the president’s next move is. Are his threatened use of tariffs also a possible signal for something else in the future?  Would this president at some point take on a reform of  the U.S. income tax system, which Steve Forbes, and others say is massively wasteful?  Image credit, Prager U.

Trusts-Busting Yields Innovation, More Businesses, and Job Creation/Protection

MHProNews has chronicled the rise of globalist uber-billionaires, and their monopolistic conglomerates.

The president has signaled a willingness to do trust-busting actions.

Breaking up monopoles would protect and fuel American Jobs, American Innovation, and American Independent Businesses, that historically create the most jobs, and also innovate the most.

“Winners and Losers,” L2 Founder, Prof Scott Galloway on Monopolies

It’s the mega conglomerates that are automating more, and hiring fewer human workers.

It’s the leaders of the mega corporations that often want open borders, cheap foreign labor, and the illegal immigration that is undermining our economic, judicial and electoral systems.

Progressive “Nation” Reports on Monopolies Cites Buffett, Clayton, Others – MH Industry Impact?

Warren Buffett led Berkshire Hathaway’s manufactured housing finance, production and other units have been accused of monopolistic practices by a range of media across the left-right political divide.

Land Use Killing Affordable Housing, How Common-Sense Law Enforcement

Unlocks $2 Trillion Dollars in Additional Annual GDP

Problematic zoning, so-called expert “central planners,” and land use policies have hamstrung America for far too many decades.

Two university professors in 2016 estimated that the roadblocks to affordable housing are costing the U.S. economy some $2 Trillion dollars annually in additional GDP.

Using their $2 Trillion potential GDP growth statistic, if existing federal laws were being robustly enforced, the economy could experience a largely unsubsidized jolt that could create even more good jobs.

POTUS Trump understands from his professional experiences that factory home building can create entry-level to elegant homes.

MultipleReasonsExpectManufacturedHousingDoBetterThanSiteBuiltHousingEricBelskyEecDirJointCenterHousingStudiesHarvardUnivDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews

At the time Belsky made this prediction, manufactured homes were selling over 250,000 new units per year. What happened?  Smoking Gun 3 spells it out.

From Operation Breakthrough in the 1970s, to Harvard’s Eric Belsky in the early 2000s, the potential for the manufactured homes that HUD Secretary Ben Carson called “Amazing!” to fuel the American Dream is real.

HUD’s Operation Breakthrough, Promoting Factory, Industrialized Building – Mobile Home Era to Modern Manufactured Homes.

Enforcement of the Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000 – which includes enhanced preemption – utilizes principles the president grasps from his myriad of professional experience.

Mandating the robust enforcement of the Duty to Serve Manufactured Housing that the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 required would also aid the process. Leveling the playing field via regulatory tweaks across FHA, VA, and the USDA (Rural Housing) loan programs for manufactured homes in both fee simple and home only scenarios would too.

The New York Times and MHProNews surveys both suggested that manufactured home owners were among the once “forgotten Americans” who supported President Trump.

Those home owners deserve the dignity and respect of being manufactured home owners.

A simple president tweet in support of those manufactured home owners could be a useful step to restoring their dignity, often robbed by elitists politicos whos slammed them as deplorables.

Enhanced preemption, education on the realities of manufactured homes vs. the myths, and proper lending access could transform America in short order.

That can be done via enforcement of existing law.  It would cost very little to the federal or local governments.  It would increase the property tax base.  It would increase the net worth of Americans.

God is modest, and the Creator understands the notion of saving the best for last. The American Dream is tied up with faith, flag, family, and fortune.  Hebrew and Christian Scriptures prove that the Ten Commandments protect private property.

God isn’t a socialist.  God’s Word enshrines free enterprise, and private property.

President Trump’s taking action that protects faith communities, defending the use of the phrase merry Christmas, and protect Life, Liberty, and Property are Godly principles.

These are all concepts worth to reflect on this day, and every day.

Our sincere thanks for the president’s many successes to date.

Here’s to more, and a heartful happy birthday wish to President Donald J. Trump. Please continue your work at making America ever greater, all for the benefit of restoring the dignity and opportunities of Americans first. ## (Coaching tips, marketing, sales, and management news.)

Memorial Day – 60 Second Video, Honoring the Fallen Who Preserved Freedom

May 28th, 2018 Comments off
MemorialDay2018WhiteHouseVideoManufacturedHousingIndustryDailyBusinessNewsMHProNews550x315

Collage is produced from stirring images from the video posted below.

Economic, personal, religious, and political freedom are never free. Each one always comes at a cost.

We stand, and live free in the shadow of those who have safeguarded our freedoms.

Memorial Day honors those who gave their lives for others.

Unlike many nations, Americans have fought, bled, and died not only for our own freedom, but also in many cases for the freedom of others.

·        France and many nations in Europe,

·        Morocco and nations in Africa,

·        South Korea and nations in Asia

are among those who are free today because Americans bled and died to liberate or keep them free.

So, those who spin American history to be one of pure oppression are either ignorant of – or worse, ignore – the good that soldiers, sailors, airmen, or others who serve in intelligence, and support services have done.  Many of them paid the ultimate price of giving their lives for others.

We should look at history with clear eyes and historic perspectives. We should not project our advantages back onto those who did not have the same insights.  We can’t condemn those who had no internet at their fingertips for lacking that technology which some of them created, and which we enjoy today.

World history is largely a long series of stories that are often about slavery, domination, and oppression.

The civil rights movement accomplishments of the past 50 years in America, and the freeing of slaves during the Civil War a century before, must be understood in a context of a world we’re slavery was commonplace. Slavery sadly still exists in the world today. Sex trafficking, and other forms of human bondage still occurs daily.  There are places in the world where humans are auctioned off to others, just as happened over 150 years ago on this continent.

We’ve made progress in certain ways, but the world still needs more work.  The fight for freedom is never over.

America isn’t perfect, and never has been. But that imperfection isn’t a reason to lament, or reject our past. We aren’t perfect either. An candid look at reality can inspire us to do even better. Let us lift up those who have fallen in thoughts and prayers of thanksgiving, and in our memories.

There are divisions which some will exploit, with the notion of gaining some power over others. It’s entirely wrong-headed to look back at only the bad, when the USA – more than any nation in world history – sacrificed for each other, and for so many others abroad too. Memories of the total sacrifice of the fallen should inspire us personally to do better.

Today isn’t Veterans Day. Memorial Day is for those who have fallen.

Without those who gave it all, we might be living in a Communist, Nazi, and other kind of dictatorship today.

You are able to do good business as a free person, in concert with other free people, because of the sacrifices of others.  Today, we honor those who made our freedoms possible. ##  (Event news, analysis, and commentary.)
