Attraction Marketing, Appealing to More Cash, Good Credit Customers into Manufactured Homes

March 27th, 2019

A new national non-producers, or post-production, trade association for manufactured housing should have as one goal to increase the appeal of manufactured homes to the mainstream housing consumer.

The credit profile of existing or new conventional housing is routinely better than it is for manufactured homes.  Yet, once someone is properly exposed to modern manufactured homes, regardless if it is entry level or residential style HUD Code product, they are impressed with the value proposition.

There are already proven methods for attracting, engaging with, and successfully converting a growing number of those who are looking for affordable homes, but may not be thinking about manufactured homes yet.

Tomorrow afternoon, there will be an organizational discussion and meeting to launch such a post-production trade group.

There are numerous, positive ways that using local level efforts, the industry could significantly improve its image, appeal, and acceptance as a mainstream form of housing. See the report, linked below.
