Assessment of MH Low in NH Town

April 17th, 2012 Matthew Silver

SeaCoastonline in New Hampshire reports town officials in North Hampton, NH near the Atlantic Ocean coast say the state Department of Revenue Administration has completed its review of the property assessment determination process and discovered the manufactured homes in the area are undervalued. Most town property, MHProNews.com has learned, is valued at the standard 108 percent of its sales price, whereas manufactured homes are being assessed at 60 percent of their sales price. The Select Board will seek more information from its contracted assessment firm.
