Congress will soon consider permanently extending certain provisions of the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”  Said the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) in a media release to the Daily Business News.

According to a recent NFIB member ballot, “over 90 percent of small business owners support permanently extending the expiring provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”

Removing the December 31, 2025 sunset date for small business provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will provide long-term certainty and allow business owners to continue to expand and grow the economy,” the NFIB said.

You can contact your legislators right now via an email system that the 325,000 member strong NFIB offers, to tell Congress to permanently extend the small business provisions of the law.

Given that several Democrats are pledging to reverse the tax cuts, if they retake the House and Senate, the time to act is now. The link to use to contact your congressman and senators is found here. “We Provide, You Decide.” © ## (News, analysis, and commentary.)
