Skyline Founder Art Decio Donates Movie Equipment to Boyhood Gym

skyline_corporation_homeWhile Skyline Corp. of Elkhart, Indiana is determining what suitor, if any, will acquire all or part of the company, founder Art Decio has agreed to donate $20,000 for high definition movie equipment for the Roosevelt Center gymnasium in Elkhart, where he and Mayor Dick Moore played basketball some 60 years ago. The nonprofit group “My Hood Needz Me” fell short in a fundraising effort, as rvbusiness.com reports. With Decio’s donation, Friday nights will become free movie nights at the gym where a screen will stretch 16 feet across the stage. As MHProNews reported Sept. 29, Skyline is entertaining an offer from Evergreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC to acquire its rv division, while fending off attempts by Cavco Industries, Inc. to purchase the entire company. Skyline produces manufactured and modular homes a well as recreational vehicles. ##
