Skyline Rises again as Dow Reaches New High

stock_report_Sept_19The huge splash made by Alibaba’s IPO evidently drowned out most everything else, although the Dow Jones Industrial Average managed enough gain, +0.08 percent, +13.75 points, to set another new high, ending the week at 17,279.74. The Nasdaq slipped -.30 percent, -13.64 points, to end the day at 4,579.79, while the S&P 500 also fell to mark the end of the week, -0.05 percent, -0.96 points, to finish at 2,010.40. The Manufactured Housing Composite fell -2.27 percent to 588.7. Tracked stocks closed more down than up, or even, none moving dramatically either way, as CNNMoney reports to MHProNews. Skyline Corp. moved up more than other tracked stocks,+1.85 percent, +0.05 points, to end the day at $2.75, while Drew Industries, Inc. fell more than other stocks we cover, -3.09 percent, -1.46 points, to close at $45.82.
