Social Media Explained in Plain English

Here’s a video that explains Social Media in Plain English. A simple story that illustrates the forces shaping social media. This video comes in an unbranded “presentation quality” version that can be licensed for use in the workplace from CommonCraft.

As the world changes, we need to change with it. Social media is the future of marketing. We are going to try to explain it, keep pace with it and show you how to use it.

There are several outlets for social media marketing. The video above uses just one, YouTube. It appears in this blog, which allows you to comment (please do). That make this another form of social media. My Local Business Marketing Blog is another of this type. These outlets provide more in-depth information as they have more space for longer posts.

We also use a Facebook Fan Page and Twitter for short marketing messages and links.

Orange Cat Productions can guide you through the Social Media maze and provide you with information and services to to put Social Networking to work for you.
